Finally a topic that makes everyone, everywhere equally annoyed and curious all at the same time. Talking about undeservedly wealthy teens who have an IQ of 20, the morals of Motley Crew and the ambition of a wild rabbit is something that we can all sink our teeth into. We see new headlines everyday about Hollywood teens gone wild with daddy’s money and either think, "If that were my kid they’d be in military school", or "I really want those shoes" – it’s a matter of age and gender I suppose.
This said, are the current wealthiest teens all really that bad or did the previous bunch like Parris Hilton (sorry Parris you’re a big girl now) just ruin the rep for the current generation? Let’s take a look at 3 of the richest teenagers:
The unavoidable phenomenon was discovered by Scooter Braun by total accident while he was
looking up some other young singer on YouTube and has since become an international force of such influence that he has earned around $53 million thus far and climbing. The idol of young girls with no personalities everywhere, Bieber has actually surprised many by not transforming into a coke sniffing womaniser. His greatest crimes thus far have only been a penchant for saying stupid things like, "I feel like the Kurt Cobain of my generation" and wearing pink booties to a photo shoot.
Slipping into second this year, I thank the heavens for Miley since she balances the moral scales
out with the goody two shoes Bieber by being a scandalous rock star type again. The new Britney Spears and idol of teen girls everywhere has dropped naked pics before and been photographed during an intense make out session. She’s earned $48 million so far mostly from her role as “Hannah Montana”. Despite being a morally ambiguous figure she deserves respect for making it on her own steam despite being the daughter of one-hit-wonder Billy Ray.
Angus T. Jones
Super popular child star of super popular Two and a Half Men series Angus T. Jones got the lucky break of several lives when he was cast in the role of the hapless Jake Harper. Currently 18 years of age, he started his acting career when he was only six. All in all he’s racked up an impressive $7.8 million by this stage but appears not to have been influenced by talented but morally corrupt Charlie Sheen and prefers the company of charity organisations to drugs and girls.
